About Our Products
Why do you sell Limited Slip Collars instead of traditional Martingales?
Either is a more comfortable, safer choice than a buckle collar or harness, and we made traditional Martingales for many years. We prefer Limited Slips because they offer more lining choices (microplush fleece or garment-grade leather) and the hardware sits at the side of the neck rather than on top — so the collar hangs cleanly even when not attached to a lead.
Both styles tighten without choking when a dog pulls, preventing escape. We never recommend leaving any collar on a dog unsupervised.
Are Limited Slip collars only for sighthounds?
No. Sighthounds are particularly good at backing out of buckle collars thanks to their narrow heads, but nearly any dog can slip a non-adjusting collar. That's why more trainers and walkers require some form of limited slip for client dogs. Plus they look great — check our candid customer photos of mixed and pure breeds wearing Fuzzywumpets.
What's the difference between Everyday, Elite, and Luxe European Crystal collars?
Everyday — Microplush fleece lining, durable polyester webbing or grosgrain ribbon, machine washable. Built for daily wear.
Elite — Upgraded brass or nickel-plated brass hardware, garment-grade leather backing on most styles, premium designer jacquard ribbons.
Luxe European Crystal — Our showpiece line. Hand-set genuine European crystals on premium ribbons and leather. Guaranteed against crystal loss — see your warranty details below.
My dog is now trained. Is my Private Trainer Collar useless?
Not at all. The 2.25mm prong links can be removed individually, transforming the collar into a modified Martingale that retains the look and the secure fit. See removal instructions ↗
I see a lot of collars that look like yours on Facebook and Etsy. What's the difference?
Fifteen-plus years of experience, for one. We've eliminated materials that don't hold up and built supplier relationships that ensure consistent quality. Every Fuzzywumpets collar is 100% made in the USA, fully guaranteed, and in most cases a better value than imitations. Look for the Fuzzywumpets tag.
What's a wumpet, and why is it fuzzy?

How long will it take to receive my order?

What's your return policy?
30-day returns on most new, unused items. Luxe European Crystal collars carry a separate guarantee against crystal loss — we'll re-crystal free of charge. See full policy ↗
Do you ship internationally?
Contact us with your destination and we'll provide a quote. Most international orders are possible.
