HOW TO MEASURE AND FIT A FUZZYWUMPETS LIMITED SLIP COLLAR:

When properly fitted, a tightened collar should not be able to slide off your dog's head, but will not tighten smaller than the circumference of the dog’s neck.   Adjustable Collars provide 2 or more inches of adjustability in the circumference of the collar, allowing for more flexibility in sizing.  The adjustable portion cannot be lined, thereby reducing the overall amount of fleece padding in the collar.

How to Measure Your Dog:  Measure around the dog's head at the widest part, usually under the jaw and over or right in front of the ears. Do not measure your dog’s neck.  Fuzzywumpets’ collars are designed to adjust to the proper neck fit when the collar fits over the dog’s head. 

XSMALL
9" to 11”; fits head sizes no smaller than 9” and no larger than 11”.Adjustable XSM - 8.5" to 12.5"

SMALL
11” to 13”; fits head sizes no smaller than 11” and no larger than 13”.  Adjustable SM - 11" - 14"

SMEDIUM
12” to 14”; fits head sizes no smaller than 12” and no larger than 14”.   No adjustable SMED.

MEDIUM
14” to 18”; fits head sizes no smaller than 14” and no larger than 18”.  Adjustable MED - 14.5" - 18.5"

LARGE
17" to 21”; fits head sizes no smaller than 17” and no larger than 21”.  Adjustable LG - 17" -  21.5"

XLARGE

20” to 25”; fits head sizes no smaller than 20” and no larger than 25”.  Adjustable XLG - 22" - 27"

How to Fit the Collar on Your Dog:  To ensure your collar is properly adjusted, move the collar up to the narrowest part of the neck and pull upwards on the control loop (the part the D-ring is attached to). Adjust the slide on the body of the collar so that when the collar is fully tightened, the collar cannot be slipped over the dog’s head, but the collar is not choking the dog.
